TV Stands With Wall Mounts – Most modern flat screen TVs, with two LCD screens for plasma screens, are capable of mounting on a wall. This feature allows you to save space on a TV stand. However, in order to mount the TV on the wall, you have to install the bracket first. Most mounts have a part that connects to the TV and a part that attaches to the wall. You have to connect the two parts in order to assemble the television.
Buy a mount that fits your flat screen TV and chooses a location for the TV to hang on. It should not be over a heater or fireplace. Avoid glare from windows too. Place the TV face down on a blanket and find the four screws for mounting on the wall. You may have to pry out the plastic covers that cover the screws with a screwdriver. Loosen the screws and place the mounting bracket over the holes. Screw the screws in place to secure the TV to the stand.
Use the studies finder to locate the nails on the wall where you want to hang your television. Mark the location of the studs. Line the wall mount so it is the level and use the drill to drill the screws in the wooden posts to fasten the wall mount. Ask a helper to help you lift and fix the TV to the mount. One person needs to hold the television while the other lines up the mount and the bracket and screws the screws in place to hold the TV to the mount.
